There are new developments in the case of two EMTs, Jason Green and Melisa Jackson, who left Eutisha Rennix untreated which may have led to her death and the death of her unborn baby.

The EMTs that were in Au Bon Pain when Rennix began to have trouble, claim that they were "never asked to examine her or told the extent of her condition;" they were "only asked to call an ambulance" (as reported by NY1).

Their lawyer also claims that none of the other employees seemed too concerned about Rennix, so the EMTs did not think that the situation was life-threatening.

NY 1 reports that the EMTs' attorney "says an employee only told his clients Rennix was exhibiting asthmatic symptoms and had some abdominal pain." They claim that that was the extent of how much they learned about Rennix's symptoms. It is not specified if the two EMTs knew that Rennix was pregnant or not.

In addition to being suspended without pay, Green and Jackson will also be facing a criminal probe from the Brooklyn district attorney's office.
