Pomeranian Brings Personal Injury To Man And His Sex Life

So a guy and a dog walk into a bar. Then the guy trips over the dog and sues the restaurant for damages to his sex life.

The man's New York injury attorney doesn't think it's that funny either.

The 81-year-old Irving Grossman was in Austin's Steak and Ale House when he claims that an "unleashed Pomeranian" made him injure his knee. Wearing the brace for two months is what caused the downfall of his sex life. Now he is suing for personal injury.

Not only did the manager not remember the fall occurring, even though she was working that night, but she states that the only reason why a dog would be in the restaurant would be if it was a guide dog. It is illegal to have a dog inside of a restaurant for obvious sanitary reasons.

While the manager did admit that a regular customer is assisted by a Seeing Eye dog, in no way could that be a pomeranian. First of all, a guide dog must meet certain qualifications in terms of strength and presence to direct a person 18 years of age or older. A pomeranian would be stepped on before it would adequately lead a human.

Secondly, a guide dog must be a comfortable height to the harness can reach the hand of the person without having to hunch over. If you strap a harness to a pomeranian, (a) it would be able to move and (b) you won't be able to reach unless, for a change of pace, you decide to walk on your knees.

There is no way that a pomeranian would be legally in that restaurant since the only exception to the rule has been eliminated (guide dog). If you ever see a dog in a restaurant, leashed or not, get your evidence by taking pictures and calling attention to the situation (witnesses).

For now, Grossman's New York injury attorney seems to be against a wall since he has no witnesses or evidence besides his hurt knee and the phantom pomeranian.
